Refurbished to a very high standard, the cottage has a sunny southwest facing lounge with fabulous panoramic views over Teesdale. A beamed ceiling and real flame fire adds to the warm and cosy feel of the sitting room. A large and sunny family sized kitchen with separate dining area, leads out onto the garden at the rear - perfect for occasional alfresco dining and relaxing while the sun goes down.
The cottage has a large master bedroom with a luxury king sized brass bed and ample storage. (Again there’s an outstanding view over the Dale). A luxury bathroom and an additional bedroom with en suite shower room completes your accommodation.
From Ferndale Cottage its a short drive to Barnard Castle’s bustling Market Place and you'll find it’s the centre of Dales life - dozens of pubs, restaurants, museums, galleries and specialist shops. Although near the centre of activities in Teesdale, the cottage is a haven of peace and quiet.
The secluded garden is a real suntrap and is an ideal place to sit out and relax. For ramblers there’s a fantastic range and variety of walks to choose from, woodland walks, riverside walks, railway walks and longer distance moorland walks.
